Kim Plumridge

A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and a professional actor for nearly 40 years, Kim Plumridge has performed Off-Broadway, in regional theatre and in film and television. She is a veteran of numerous national commercials and voice-overs and is a member of the SAG-AFTRA union, Actors' Equity Association and New York Women in Film & Television.

Kim began teaching acting in 2000 to private students and small groups in NYC and Westchester. In 2010, she became the Associate Artistic Director of MTB Studio in NYC where she has created and taught a number of classes including Foundations of ActingScene Study for Stage & Camera, Teen Film and TV Intensive and Feldenkrais® Voice, Body and Spirit Classes. Kim is also a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner CM and has taught Feldenkrais® Lessons in NYC and Westchester since 2006. In addition to her private clients, Kim has taught group Awareness Through Movement ® workshops at the Equinox Fitness ClubYoga Haven in Tuckahoe, Westchester Community College, Tuckahoe Public LibraryLawrence Hospital’s Cancer Survivorship Program, and the Feldenkrais Learning Center in NYC.
